  Does the class meet at a certain time?

No, the regular classes start on a specific date for so many weeks, generally 4 - 6 weeks. Because the instructors and students are located worldwide the classes are self-paced. New lessons go up in the class every Monday. The instructor is required to check the class message board and email daily.

Year round classes start the day the student lets me know that you want to start. That day is your official start date. The student has two months to complete the course. If the student has not completed the course in that time, they may repeat the course for an additional two months for a fee of $20.

  When do I receive my log in name and password?

Students receive an "Instructions to Class" email the first day of class. The student follows the instructions email and signs the classes rules and copyrights on the class messageboard. Within 24 hours of signing the class rules and copyrights, the student will receive and email titled "Directions to Class" including the log in and password from the site administrator. All classes begin on Mondays. If you do not receive this information by the following Tuesday, contact us by email HERE immediately.

  What do I do if I am having trouble with a webpage or message board?

Email Susan This contact information is located on the bottom of every webpage. Please make sure to tell us, which class and/or webpage you are having problems with. We do not furnish our phone number or address on the website to limit the amount of junk mail and phone solicitors we receive. If you would like to speak with us one-to-one, please email us and we will be happy to phone you. The Costume Gallery and its division, Costume Classroom, are located in Chesterfield, Virginia, USA and owned by Penny E. Ladnier.

  How do I know when new classes are added to the schedule or open for registration?

The Costume Gallery and Costume Classroom have an email list at Yahoo Groups. Newsletters are sent out to members about class availability, new classes, and new webpages are added to The Costume Gallery website, and special events. The email list members are not allowed to send messages back and forth to one another via the list. This is strictly a newsletter email list. To join the Newsletter email list click here.

  Do you accept credit cards for payment?

Yes. Our credit cards are processed by an online service called Paypal. They are one of the largest processors of credit card in the world. They do accept credit cards from several countries from around the world. Please check the countries that Paypal accepts on their website. If you are having problems setting up a Paypal account, you may call them at 888-221-1161. The Costume Gallery or Costume Classroom will NEVER ask for your credit card information. VISA, Discover, American Express, and MasterCard are accepted.

  Do you accept personal checks or money orders for payment?

We accept e-checks through Paypal (see credit card question). Any person with a Paypal account can pay for a class.

Personal checks and money orders can only be accepted from U.S. banks and in U.S. currency.
***NEW POLICY: We are only accepting personal checks and money orders from former students.

  What if I can not finish my class?

Classrooms stay up on the website for two weeks after the course's last lesson is posted. This is to where students can catch up if needed. If a student wishes to repeat a class, there is a $20 fee.

  If I can't complete a class, can I get a refund?

The only time refunds or credits are given is if a class you paid for is cancelled or if you have a life-threatening medical emergency or death occurs in your immediate family. We will ask for proof of this event before refund or credit is issued.

  Do you provide our personal information to marketing or junk mail groups?

NEVER! We hate junk mail and solicitors calling me during dinner-time just like you. The information is only required for shipping class kits, and our tax records. A phone number is required for customer assistance, in case there is a problem with receiving kits, website problems, etc.
