Fashion Date: Circa 1869-1873
Hairstyle Description: This is a perfect example of ringlets. Each ringlet makes a perfect spiral. How do you know if you have a perfect ringlet? You can't see through it. This lady has pulled the frontal sides up and secured it with a barrette or comb. Her hair has two layers of ringlets.
NOTE: This hairstyle is very difficult to create with really long hair. The ringlets start to look like dreadlocks.
Costume Description: Simple dress with V-neckline accented on
the inside with ruffle of white lace and a black ribbon at her throat that
holds a simple charm.
