Fashion Date:Circa 1874-1877
Hairstyle Description: This hairstyle seemed to have some crimping or naturally curly hair. Her hair is pulled back at the top and has some fullness added. Her hair appears to be shoulder blade length.
Costume Description: The high collar on her shirt combined with the longer shoulder of her bodice, the high arrangement of her hair, and the large decorative cross, put this costume in the transition between the early bustle natural form era. The bodice is very similar to a "pleated basque" shown in the 1874 Butterick catalog.
