Fashion Date:circa 1866-1869
Hairstyle Description: This hairstyle is pulled back flat to the head from a frontal center part. Her hair is then secured and garnished with a small bow. The massive ringlet ponytail is very time consuming to create. I do this style on my daughter frequently and it takes about three hours on naturally curly hair.
Costume Description: There is very little of her dress visible in this photo but we can see the dropped armscye which also dates from this time frame.
