CHEVRONS Chevrons may have any color cloth field. The bars indicating the rank may be either of contrasting-color cloth, or gold or silver lace. The device in the center of the field may be of the same material as the bars, or of gold or silver embroidery. Chervons are worn points up, in accordance with U.S. Army regulation.
